🚧💧Pre construction notice- Village of Ripley

Work will be taking place today on Park Ave., Pond Dr., High St., and part of Elm St. to install a hydrant.

The affected area is highlighted on the attached map.

Customers in the area may experience low water pressure or no water while the work is being completed. A pre construction one call was sent out. Customers will also be under a boil advisory.

If you are in the highlighted area and did not receive a call, please contact our office to update your contact information!

On August 27, 2026 Brown County Rural Water was named one of the 2026 Friend of Conservation recipients. Accepting the award from Brown County Rural Water Association President Ken Morrison, VP James Bridges, Treasurer Stephen Rockey, Trustees Tim Wood, Jeff Cluxton, and Frank Fussnecker. Award presented by Danielle Thompson from Brown County Soil & Water Conservation District.

‼️UPDATE: No boil advisories have been issued at this time. However, crews are still working to restore water service as of 4:25pm. Full service and pressure will still remain in and out until all work is completed.

We have just been made aware of a water main break that is currently affecting the Russellville area and SR 125. Once more information is available we will update this post. Thank you.‼️

We will be completing a project in the Village of Ripley this morning. The map attached shows the highlighted area that will be impacted. Service will be restored as soon as possible. **There is a boil advisory in effect currently!**
