I will be dissolving this page within the next 24hrs now that a new commission and Mayor has taken office. The new administration has created a new page you can follow that here at this link. I wish everyone the best! I will also be dissolving the city website at www.cityofdoverkentucky.com within 24hrs so they can build there own as well. I will still continue using the Dover Kentucky Mainstreet page for information purposes and things I will still continue doing as a resident of Dover. So with that said I will get Christmas taken down in town at the end of of Old Christmas on the or Epiphany which is January 6th 2023! Wishing you all a Happy New Year and Finish your Christmas Season Happy and Bright!

Upcoming Winter Storm

A major winter storm will impact Dover and surrounding areas starting early Friday morning and the State of Kentucky has declared an emergency. At this point, the amount of snow is unknown. What is known, is that temperatures will rapidly drop early Friday morning and it will remain dangerously cold through Christmas Day. Winds may gust up to 40 mph that will create wind chills as low as -20* and possibly colder. Any snow we do receive could cause whiteout conditions.

With the projection of high winds, there is the possibility of power outages. Utilities companies are on standby. Those will be announced if there is an outage. If the power in your home does go out, do not leave. Go to an interior room and shut all doors. This will allow time for contractors to hopefully fix any power issues.

Bottom line, unless you need to go out (work, etc) please try and stay home. If you have neighbors that need assistance, please help by checking on them.

Unfortunately we are not prepared for this situation. We have no one to Plow for the City nor do we have the salt.
So please be careful and stay vigilante when driving in town.
Have a safe and Happy Christmas 🎄

Who would like to come for this ???
Good afternoon. I’d be happy to do a workshop for you. The mosaic classes usually last 2 hours and guests pick the project they’d like to work on by registering on my website: www.pammcglone.com/workshops

The cost is $25 per person which includes the project, glue, tiles, the take-home kit (grout, sealer, gloves and instructions). If guests want the garden stepping stone, it is $35 per person.

I like to have at least 10 people present to do a class and have worked with groups in upwards of 50.

Want to learn the basics of mosaics while creating your own masterpiece with your closest friends? In these 2-hour sessions, you will learn how to design, create, grout and seal mosaics of all kinds.
