Mr. Rankin’s science class transformed the classroom into an interactive exploration of chemistry and physics:
- Dry Ice Experiments: Investigating heavy fog, rapid gas production, and ice-cold sublimation.
- Uranium Glass Display: Utilizing UV light to reveal bright green luminescence caused by historical radioactivity.
- Tonic Water Luminescence: Demonstrating fluorescence under blacklight through everyday liquid compounds.
- Plasma Spheres: Observing electrical discharge and high-voltage light phenomena firsthand. It was an engaging, hands-on learning experience to mark Halloween.
