2nd Dues Notices Mailing Soon. We know that with the mail system, dues or notices may not have all made it to their final destination. The hope is this post will reduce the amount of postage to send out a second notice to outstanding dues addresses. At this point we have processed all the checks/payments that we have received. If you recently mailed it, please check your banking institution to see if we have cashed it. If we have not, then we have not received it. If you have inquires, please reach out to us via email at [email protected]
🚨2026 FIRE DUES🚨
Our mailing company has notified us that cards are being sent out for the 2026 Fire Dues. Some information below:
- 2026 dues are $60.
- If paying with Venmo, PLEASE put your address in the memo so we can track it easier. Our system is address based not owner. If paying multiple addresses please put in all addresses. Our venmo payments are all set to private between us and the sender. is the venmo
- You can still pay by check or dropping it off at Dieterich Bank, North County Savings or Buena Vista in Red Bud.
- We deposit physical checks in batches and it could be a few weeks after mailing it before it is cashed. As well, the mail system may not get us your check in a timely manner. Even when taken to the bank, please wait at least a month before contacting us in regards to your payment. The bank collects checks and gives them to us for recording and deposit, they don't automatically process them.
- There are 2 groups that handle our dues process, the City RBFD and Rural Fire Board. If you are within city limits, the fire department board handles it. If you are out of city limits, the rural board handles your dues. In some instances there can be inadvertent overlap.
- Please reach out to our dedicated email address for dues. It is not monitored daily but we will be responding to inquiries. [email protected]
We understand that sending out bills around the holidays is less than ideal but we have deferred it well into the next year in the past and it netted just as many issues. The alternative would be property taxes which are also due at this time. We do thank you for your continued support. Our department is funded primarily with dues and fundraisers. Our goal is always to be good stewards of your money by providing our members with the best training and equipment for our community's specific needs through comprehensive planning and research.
