It was a beautiful sunny week for Pumpkin carving at the Reading Fire barn. Ms and Hs students in Mrs Flynn's art classes helped elementary students carve a creative pumpkin face of their choice. They will be on display at the annual Pumpkin Glow in the parking lot of the Michigan street pavilion on October 30th and 31st. Mrs Flynn is very proud of all the students behavior, leadership and community involvement.

Dear Reynolds Families and Reading Community,

After speaking with the Reading Police Department, we have made a few adjustments to our Halloween parade route to help ensure the safety of our students. These changes will keep our parade off Main Street/49.

Please see the attached map for the updated parade route.

Students will walk along the sidewalks, and the Reading Police Department will assist by blocking streets as students cross. We appreciate their partnership and support in helping us provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our students!

Parade Details:

Date: Friday, October 30

Start Time: 8:30 AM

Route: Please refer to the attached map.

Thank you to our families and the Reading Community for your understanding, flexibility, and continued support. We look forward to celebrating Halloween with our students and appreciate everyone’s help in keeping this a fun and safe event for all!

🖤🎃 Things got a little strange at Reynolds Elementary! 🎃🖤

Our staff photos got a spooky, creative twist with a Tim Burton-inspired theme! 🕸️🖤

A HUGE shoutout to our talented 6th grade students, who drew these amazing, creative pictures of our staff under the direction of our art teacher, Mrs. Ringman! 🎨✏️ Their artistic talents brought this fun and spooky project to life!

We are so proud of our students and love seeing their creativity shine throughout Reynolds Elementary! ❤️💛
