Given the recent spike in gas prices, I felt it important to mention that I have been a relative sole voice in the legislature trying to tackle the real problem in the fuel market, that being gas supply. See my video testimony in front of the California Senate in 2024 as proof.

I am committed to continue working on real efforts to ensure Arizonans have access to reliable and affordable gas. Ultimately, the only thing that can bring about more stable, affordable prices in Arizona is for more supply to come to the state. A second pipeline from Texas is coming in a couple of years, so that will be helpful. American energy independence is the only way to provide truly affordable energy and we need our friends with major oil deposits such as Texas and California to keep drilling for oil and refining it for the entirety of the American market.

To paraphrase George Costanza from Seinfeld - “The sky was angry that day, my friends.”

Indeed it was - a dark and gloomy Phoenix Thursday. But ya know what’s not gloomy? Arizona’s amazing economy. That’s been a laser focus for me for six years as your state representative and it will stay that way the next two years. So remember to Vote Wilmeth now or by Election Day - November 3rd!

I love living in a state people actually want to visit. Tourism is big business in Arizona. Heck, the Cactus League on its own generates an economic impact of approximately $750 million EACH year. But then there’s the Phoenix Open, Barrett-Jackson, amazing resorts, and oh - that giant hole up north the world treats as a natural pilgrimage. Tourism is a major economic driver here.

Arizona is a destination. Period. And the Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association leads the charge on ensuring this vital industry remains healthy and sustainable. I’ve partnered with them for years now, and this past session I was proud to *finally* get something across the finish line that will be a major positive for the industry - House Bill 2950. It allows Arizona communities and lodging businesses a way to pool money (up to $5 per room per night) to attract more visitors, conventions and events.

The goal is to give Arizona destinations a dependable source of marketing money to compete for overnight visitors. Those visitors spend beyond their hotel - at restaurants, shops, attractions and transportation businesses - so successful promotion can support jobs and generate additional state and local tax revenue. Growing visitor demand means more employment - which is good for everyone.

That’s why I’m so thankful and grateful to have been named the 2026 Tourism Advocate Honoree of the Year. This bill was one of the hardest I’ve ever been able to accomplish. While I’m not in this for the awards, I’m extremely proud of this one because it reflects that hard work - hard work that will benefit the economic prospects of all Arizonans.

I’ve been saying for years now - it doesn’t matter if you’re red or blue… if the green isn’t there, folks won’t stick around.

That’s why I’m honored to have the endorsement of the Greater Phoenix Chamber. They are laser-focused on keeping the Phoenix economy lively and vibrant and so am I.

Economic development and international trade are two of my biggest issues and I will always advocate for those, because you and your family rely on a strong economy to provide amazing jobs.

Cardinals game days in October mean only one thing… hitting doors like Jeremiyah Love hits openings in the line. 😂

We’re getting deep into the fourth quarter of this campaign and the Vote Wilmeth team is running a high-octane, spread offense telling the great residents of LD2 about all of the amazing work I’ve been doing in the Arizona House the past six years. It’s been an honor to represent you and I’m hopeful for another term to do even more for this great state I adore.

Arizona is worth fighting for and I’ll do whatever I can to keep this state in position to cross the goal line again and again. Vote Wilmeth by Nov. 3!

Once tossed atop old railroad ties, Arizona’s Liberty Bell now stands tall and proud with a concrete base that fully displays its awesomeness. And on Thursday night, the Arizona 250 Commission hosted a re-dedication of the bell at the Capitol to celebrate the months-long renovation.

In short, it was a very special evening. I’m proud to have served as a commissioner on the A250 Commission to commemorate the 250th anniversary of this great country. I’d like to thank Secretary of State Adrian Fontes for his leadership of the commission and also Laura Terech for her stunning work and guidance on this momentous project.

I’m truly proud and honored to have been a commissioner on this project. It has meant a great deal. Thank you.
