Time for another walk down memory lane! Look closely at the older photo. In the past (as it is again today), this was children's area of the library. You can see the smaller chairs and the lower table. If you look to the right of the photo, you can actually see some children using the library. The fireplace in the older photo, though not functioning any longer, can still be found on the first floor of the library. Also, notice the bench next to the fireplace? This bench is on the 2nd floor today. Lastly, the table in the photo currently sits in our director's office. It looks much like the table on the second floor of the library, but it has one main difference. An extension was added to the bottom of the table legs to raise the table to adult size. We love the history of our building!

The past can be found in the present all around our building if you know where to look! Do you see the large table in the older picture? This is the same table that is currently in the adult section of the library. Notice the lamp attached to the center of the table. You can still see where the lamp was located if you look at the middle of the table today.
