Such a fun day at Lemos Farm with our Pumpkin Pickin’ Crew! 🎃 (Swipe to slide 3 to see where the name came from 😉)

Our Tiny Steps Family Child Care Providers and families had lots of fall fun together. Kids rode the hay ride and train, drove little cars, and smiled big for photos with their pumpkins.

Days like this matter. Strong relationships between home and child care help children feel safe, happy, and ready to learn.

Thank you to Oakland Head Start for being our partner and for helping make this trip possible. 🧡

Squish, roll, and build! 🚀

Join us for a special Family Engagement Playgroup! Kids will use Play-Doh to learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). We will make shapes, build towers, and mix colors together.

Last week, BANANAS tabled at the Fremont Measure C orientation! 🎶

Forty child care providers came by. Each one got the BANANAS Music Is Life program materials and a free speaker to use with the kids in their care. (Those red boxes are the free speakers! 🎁)

Thank you to First 5 for hosting! This session is required for all providers who get Measure C funding, and it was great to meet everyone.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Joint Annual Conference! 🚀

Our team spent a few days in Sacramento learning and sharing knowledge with child care professionals from all over California, all working toward the same goal: making life better for parents, families, and child care providers. Big thanks to and for bringing us together around this year’s theme, “Partnering for Impact: Strengthening Families, Supporting Communities.”

We’re especially proud that our Director of Development & Communications and a member of her team both led sessions. We’re heading home inspired and ready to put these ideas to work for the families we serve. 💛
