Today we celebrate the women who have fought (and continue to fight) in our efforts towards equality. In 1920, the United States officially adopted the 19th amendment to the constitution, which guarantees that the right to vote cannot be denied or abridged on the account of s*x.

At the Alameda County Registrar of Voters' Office, we will always protect your right to vote regardless of gender identity, s*x, or ethnicity! We celebrate all of our registered voters and will continue to serve you for years to come. Thank you for celebrating this important occasion with us.

ELECTION DAY IS HERE!

Cast your ballots before 8:00 p.m. today to be counted. There are 14 vote centers and 28 Official Ballot Drop Boxes for you to conveniently cast your ballot.

In a rush? Why not swing by our office to cast it at the Ballot Drop Stop? You can drive through, hand your completed ballot to official election staff, and get an "I Voted" sticker without even stepping out of your car.
