Dream Streets is a registered 501(c)3 with a mission to protect + empower families living in distress Dream Streets is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

Our mission is to protect and empower individuals living in distress. We provide supplemental groceries and family-strengthening tools. In addition, we foster positive community relations at our physical locations, mobile ministry sites, and the streets we serve in West and North Nashville. When we began our mission in 2013, generational poverty and oppression long plagued neighborhoods in the 40th Avenue Clifton corridor of West Nashville. We asked our neighbors, “What do you need?”. We listened with compassion and took action together. We found that genuine relationship, not just another program, transforms people’s lives and communities. We’ve planted roots on forgotten streets in West Nashville for almost ten years, forming a family of dreamers– volunteers, donors, and community members who choose hope over hopelessness. WE INVITE YOU TO BE PART OF THE DREAM.

Our After School students have the best attendance! They want to be at school, and they want to come to Dream Streets afterwards. For us, that is a HUGE milestone because they are what it’s all about.

Our goal is always to create a space where kids feel seen, supported, and excited to learn and grow. Seeing their attendance reflect that makes us so proud and reminds us why this work matters.

And you can be part of it, too! We’re always looking for volunteers to join us and experience the impact for themselves. Check out the link in our bio to see how you can get involved!

Meet Brennen, one of our Dream Streets board members!

When he’s not working, you can usually find Brennen “chauffeuring” his kids to soccer, swim team, Boy Scouts, or theatre. His heart for serving others also carries into his work and his commitment to our community.

“For years, one of my hopes and prayers has been for the city of Nashville to be transformed into a reflection of the kingdom of God. Being introduced to Dream Streets, I’ve seen the operations working toward this goal at every angle. I’m honored to help be a small piece of the puzzle and am looking forward to seeing the continued transformation of Nashville!”

We’re grateful to have you on the team, Brennen!
