Join us for a series on local farmers!

Tonight at 6PM we’ll hear from Jimmy Moran from the historic Wehpittituck Farm in Stonington. On November 9th we’ll hear from Larry Davis of Davis Farm where he’ll share the farm’s rich history. On November 16th we’ll hear from Rick Whittle of Whittle's Willow Spring Farm who will discuss sustainable farming practices. Please register for each program individually.

Join us this week for a few great programs!

Today we will host our Wednesday Chess Club for Kids as well as Understanding the Constitution 101 presented by Associate Professor of Government and International Relations at Connecticut College, Daniel Moak.

Tomorrow, UConn Professor Nancy Steenburg will present on Venture Smith and we will have our weekly Intermediate Level Spanish Book Group. At 6PM we will have a Halloween presentation from Greg Dwyer for an evening that blends history, mystery, and mesmerizing moments.

On Friday we will have our weekly Stories, Music (Nursery Rhymes) and Dancing and backgammon meet-up. On Saturday join us for Halloween festivities by participating in Volunteer Library Clean-Up Day from 9AM-12PM and Trick or Treat happening all day long in the Children’s Room.

Bring up to three file size boxes of confidential, personal, and business documents for complimentary shredding. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Bank!

Recently in Preschool Crafts with Miss Connie we read In the Middle of Fall and Bella's Fall Coat and kids did leaf rubbings and paper stained glass decorations!

Join us this week for some great programs!

Today we will have our weekly Intermediate Level Spanish Book Group meeting as well as the second talk in our sports speaker series featuring runner Amby Burfoot.

Friday, we will have our weekly Stories, Music and Dancing class for kids as well as our backgammon meetup and tech help appointments.

On Saturday join us for a kid’s cooking class, Food For Your Soul, where we’ll be cooking with pumpkin and at 2PM we’ll have our monthly adult improv class.
