On average, the Parent Resource Center serves 125 individuals at the monthly food distribution. Thank you to our food bank partner, Second Harvest of the Greater Valley.

Today is ! Car crashes are the leading cause of death for children ages 1-12 years in the U.S. Correctly used child safety seats can reduce the risk of death by as much as 71 percent! Every year in September, Safe Kids coalitions across the country host events to help parents learn how to install and use their car seat correctly. This Saturday, ask yourself: "Is my child in the right car seat?" Ensuring your child is properly restrained at each stage of their life will keep them better protected.

It's Child Passenger Safety Week! An analysis of Safe Kids car seat checkups from 2018 to 2024 revealed that at least one form of misuse was found in more than two-thirds of the car seats checked.
