Think lifeguarding is only a summer job for high school swimmers? Think again

We’re building an aquatics team for all ages and stages of life — high school and college students, parents, teachers, retirees, and anyone looking for meaningful, flexible work.

With expanded aquatics programming, we need lifeguards for early mornings, afternoons and evenings — not just summer afternoons.

🌊 Already certified? We want to hear from you! �🤍 Interested but not certified yet? We can help with that, too! Our next Lifeguard Certification Course will be held October 9–18.

Dryden Clubhouse Renovation Update!

The project is taking shape, and this latest progress photo shows several key elements coming together.

🏗️ Clubhouse: Steel framing is now in place, giving us the first real look at the future clubhouse structure.

🚗 Parking: The interior parking lot has been paved and is taking shape alongside the new concrete curbs and landscaped planters.

🛣️ Perimeter Improvements: The perimeter parking area has been fine graded and is ready for the next phase — paving.

Every phase brings us one step closer to completing the site and bringing the vision to life. More progress ahead! 👷‍♂️🏗️

The City of Modesto's McHenry Museum invites you to honor your loved ones by building a personal altar (ofrenda) as part of our Día de los Mu***os community celebration. This year our event is entirely outdoors on I and 15th Streets. There are two ways to participate: 1) Classic Cars/Lowriders are invited to build ofrendas in their trunks or truck beds; 2) Community members may sign up for a spot to build a traditional ofrenda from the ground up. All set up and break down will take place on October 4th before and after the event.

Event Time: 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Location: McHenry Museum, Modesto, CA
