Empowering the teams that care for our community.

Thank you to everyone at Piedmont and the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council who joined us for our inaugural anti-human trafficking training session in Atlanta, GA. We are grateful for your trust in Quest2Freedom and your commitment to equipping clinical and non-clinical teams with the tools to identify, support, and serve survivors.

We are proud to announce that alongside Piedmont Healthcare, the Georgia Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, and V.B. Williams Consulting, we have launched a statewide initiative to build lasting protocols and capacity to respond to human trafficking across the Piedmont Healthcare system!

As we recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we look back on a special day celebrating the incredible hearts that power our community. Quest2Freedom attended an Appreciation Brunch hosted by The Miami Woman's Club to honor domestic violence service providers and local community champions ✨

A huge thank you to Metris Batts, President of the MWC and Shirlee Fernandez for the nomination. It was an honor to celebrate our Founder and CEO, Victor Williams alongside others recognized for their service and dedication.

Supporting our community through practical care and strong partnerships. ♥️

Quest2Freedom picked up and delivered 300 care bags through our partnership with the Urban League of Greater Miami to the Florida Department of Children and Families.

We’re grateful to Dr. Johnson, President/CEO of the Urban League of Greater Miami, her team, and our collaborative partners for helping make this possible.

These practical essentials are one more way we can help extend care, dignity, and support to people navigating difficult circumstances.

We’re deeply grateful to Dr. Rachna Buxani for donating 100% of the profits from her book, Unseen, to Quest2Freedom. ❤️

Her generosity helps us:
• Provide emergency transitional services to individuals who have experienced human trafficking
• Equip professionals, students, and community members through education and prevention training
• Strengthen partnerships, public awareness, advocacy, and coordinated responses

Unseen is a therapist’s intimate reflection on one client’s story and the lasting effects of growing up with a narcissistic father. Ultimately, it offers a message of recognition, hope, and healing.

This week, Quest2Freedom delivered 300 care bags for women and men to the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office Victim Assistance Program, made possible through our partnership with the Urban League of Greater Miami. These care bags will help provide practical support and essential items to individuals receiving victim services in our community.

We are grateful for partnerships that help us extend care, dignity and support where it is needed most. One shared commitment to showing up for our community.

Reflecting on World Day Against Trafficking in Persons this past July, when Quest2Freedom joined fellow advocates at the Fourth Annual Protecting Innocence: Joining Forces to Combat Human Trafficking Symposium. 💙

Our Founder and CEO Victor Williams had the privilege of connecting with incredible community leaders, including Francesco Duberli, Chief Executive Director of Survivors Pathway and Kim McGrath, Director of Programs and Services at Citrus Family Care Network.

From vital panel discussions on local initiatives to powerful presentations on survivor support, this event reinforced the power of collaboration. It takes a dedicated network of advocates, organizations, and community members to raise awareness, protect the vulnerable, and build a safer, more just world for all. ✨

Grateful to Citrus Health Network's CHANCE Program, Voices For Children Foundation, Inc., The Women's Fund Miami, City of Hialeah - Municipal Government, and the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice for bringing our community together.

Weeks later, those conversations are still shaping how we show up. The work continues.

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Collette Reece who served as a volunteer accountant to Quest2Freedom during our early days.

We remember Collette with deep gratitude for the time, care, and service she shared with our organization. Her service supporter Quest2Freedom at an important stage of our development, and her contribution will remain part of our story.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her. 🤍

As the summer session comes to a close, we're proud to highlight our Summer 2026 Intern Cohort! 🌟

Our interns bring diverse academic backgrounds: Psychology, Sociology, Global Affairs, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Public Health, and more; proof that ending human trafficking takes interdisciplinary perspectives.

When we asked what brought them to Quest2Freedom, their answers varied: cultural awareness, prevention strategy, survivor-centered advocacy, the intersection of psychology and human rights. But one thing was constant - a belief in the power of change.

To our interns: thank you for your curiosity, dedication, and impact. We can't wait to see what you accomplish next.

Human trafficking thrives in silence. Hope grows through awareness.

Today, we join people around the world in recognizing World Day Against Trafficking in Persons.

This year's global theme, "Trapped Behind the Scam," highlights a growing form of human trafficking in which victims are coerced into carrying out online scams and cyber-enabled fraud by transnational criminal networks.

Human trafficking may evolve, but so does our commitment to preventing it.

Through education, collaboration, survivor-centered advocacy, and strong partnerships, we can build communities committed to protecting human dignity. where every person is safe, valued, and free.
