A huge THANK YOU to our friends at UKG for spending the day volunteering with us last week! 💙

We were thrilled to welcome the U-Krewers to our facility. Their time, energy, and enthusiasm help us continue supporting the individuals and families we serve.

The volunteers also had the opportunity to learn more about our programs and the impact we make in our community through a presentation and a special opportunity to hear directly from one of our clients. 💙

We are so grateful for UKG’s continued partnership and generosity over the years. Their support makes a meaningful difference, and we are proud to have them as part of our Village!

Our CAC Chair and National Board Member Gregg Goldstein, Broward County VP of Operations Rory Levine, Director of Community Engagement Dustin Forman, and fellow members of our Community Action Council had a wonderful time attending the Fall Fellowship Dinner hosted by our nonprofit partner, Second Chance Society.

We’re proud to support Second Chance Society and the incredible work they continue to do throughout our community, including making a meaningful difference in the lives of many of the residents we serve.

Last Saturday, our Enhanced MAT Team and Mobile Response Team had the opportunity to attend the Military Vet Expo at the University of Miami!

The event provided our teams with a wonderful opportunity to connect with veterans throughout South Florida, learn more about the community they serve, and share information about the services and resources available through WestCare The Village South.

Our Vice President of Operations, Rory Levine, and Director of Community Engagement, Dustin Forman, were honored to attend the Law Enforcement Trust Fund check ceremony on Wednesday, September 30th, alongside more than 40 nonprofit organizations receiving support for their work throughout Broward County.

We’re proud to recognize several members of The Village South team whose dedication to children and families continues to make a difference. 💙

Anthony Stukes, Kendia Aikens, Precious Wilcox, Bianca Harris, Rhesa Tice, and Kellee Butler were recognized for the compassion, advocacy, collaboration, and family-centered care they bring to their work each day.
From ensuring parents have a voice in decisions that affect their families to supporting meaningful connections and helping families navigate some of their most difficult moments, their work reflects the heart of child welfare: seeing families, hearing parents, and continuing to believe in what is possible.
