Today, we honor and thank our 911 dispatchers, EMS personnel, firefighters, law enforcement officers, and volunteer first responders for their courage, dedication, and sacrifice.

To the dispatchers who are the calm voice in the chaos, the EMS crews who provide lifesaving care, the firefighters who run toward danger, the law enforcement officers who protect and serve, and the volunteers who give their time to help others — THANK YOU!

Telfair County EMS – Continuing Education

Yesterday, Telfair County EMS participated in scenario-based continuing education focused on pediatric and obstetric (OB) emergencies.

A huge thank-you to all our staff who participated and to everyone who helped make this training possible!

These hands-on learning opportunities are invaluable in keeping our team up to date with current protocols, strengthening our knowledge, and practicing the skills needed to provide the best possible care to our patients.

Continued education, teamwork, and preparedness help us be ready when our community needs us most!

Telfair County EMS is proud to announce the approval of our FY 2027 Georgia Trauma Commission EMS Trauma-Related Equipment Grant!

We are honored to receive $11,780.82 to support our mission of providing high-quality emergency medical care to the citizens of Telfair County.

This funding will strengthen our trauma response capabilities and help ensure that our EMS team has the equipment and resources needed to respond effectively when emergencies occur.

We sincerely thank the Georgia Trauma Commission for this support and for its continued commitment to improving trauma care across Georgia.

Every investment in EMS is an investment in our community’s health, safety, and future.
