🚔 We kicked off Safety Week with the Matthews Police Department and High Five Friday! Officers greeted students with fist bumps, high-fives and stickers while reminding our school community that they’re here to help.

By building positive connections and getting to know our students, officers are helping foster a welcoming, safe and supportive school environment. Our students loved meeting the officers and starting their morning with a high five! 👋

Harvey the Hedgehog is showing students what respect looks like in action! 🦔

Through our Moral Focus™ program, students at our Matthews Charter Academy learn how virtues like respect show up in everyday moments, like waiting patiently and letting others go first.

Ask your child: How can you show respect today? We’d love to hear their answers in the comments!

Our Athletics Program here at MCA is growing in numbers and we really could use the help to support our athletic teams. With the steady rising cost of Athletics across the country, our Athletic teams could really use your support to cover expenses, field costs, upgraded equipment, uniforms, and so much more.

Any dollar amount would help and be greatly appreciated. You can share the link below with friends, family, and co-workers as we continue to build MCA Athletics for the future. There are only a few days left to hit our goal as the fundraiser will end on October 16th.
