What an incredible year it has been for Sun Valley High School. Tuesday, celebrated a massive milestone moment for our amazing students, dedicated parents, and our phenomenal faculty and staff.🛡️

To the Class of 2026: You did it! You’ve crossed the finish line, and we could not be prouder of the resilience, talent, and passion you’ve shown. Your journey is just beginning!💪

🛡️The harvest of a lifetime starts with a single seed. 🌱✨
Today, our Spartan Sprouts initiative came full circle as the Class of 2026 joined the Class of 2038 for a morning of bubbles and graduation bracelets. It was a beautiful reminder that while anyone can plant a seed, it takes intentional love, nurturing, and care to truly see it bloom.
Our Sprouts are a living testament to the growth we’ve witnessed this year. A special thank you to Addison Parker for your dedication to this season’s potential harvest—our Spartans are GREATER for it!

🏁Ready to finish strong Spartans?🛡️
We are incredibly excited for our upcoming final exam week as we celebrate the hard work our students and staff have put in all year.
🔖Please carefully review the daily exam schedule and complete the required Transportation Form to ensure a safe and orderly dismissal during testing.
‼️It is critical that students qualifying for a retest in Math 1, Math 3, English 2, or Biology participate in scheduled retesting days to avoid the five-day Summer Gateway Module requirement.
💻Additionally, all school-issued Chromebooks and chargers must be returned immediately after your last final exam to avoid potential fees.
🎟️Seniors can pick up their graduation tickets in the cafeteria from June 3rd through June 5th between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

🎓 Class of 2026 Graduation Ceremony Preparedness! 🎓
Graduation day is almost here, Spartans! To ensure a smooth, safe, and memorable celebration for our seniors and guests, please review our mandatory guidelines and ceremony details below:
⏰ Schedule & Timing
Seniors: Park in the student lot and report to the new gym at 6:30 PM.
Guests: Gates and doors will open to welcome guests starting at 6:45 PM.
Please note: Traffic delays are expected, so plan to arrive early and consider carpooling!
🚗 Parking Information
Bus lot parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Handicap transport will be available for guests needing assistance.
Overflow parking is located at Shiloh Valley Elementary/Primary and Sun Valley Middle School.
🎟️ Mandatory Entry Guidelines (UCPS Policy)
Tickets: Every guest must have an official ticket to enter (graduates do not need their own ticket).
Clear Bag Policy: Only clear bags (no larger than 12”x6”x12”) or small clutch purses (no larger than 4.5”x6.5”) are permitted inside the venue.
Prohibited Items: Balloons, banners, horns, noisemakers, and outside food/drinks are strictly prohibited.
🤫 Ceremony Etiquette
Applause: Please hold all applause until all graduate names have been called in a given row so that every family can clearly hear their student’s name.
Attire: Personalization or decoration of graduation caps and gowns is not allowed.
🌤️ Weather Updates: Any changes due to weather will be shared immediately right here on our social media platforms.

🛡️Happy Sunday Spartans!
The finish line for the 2025-2026 school year is in sight, and we have several important updates to ensure a successful close-out for all Spartans.
📝Final exams officially kick off on Monday, June 1st and students can confirm their exemption status with teachers this Tuesday.
📆Seniors should take note of key deadlines next week, including returning all materials by May 26th and ensuring all fees are paid by May 29th.
⛑️We are also looking for student and parent volunteers for our campus reunification drill on June 15th to help keep our community safe.
