This year, Mayor Jaime Arroyo, Lancaster City’s first elected Latino Mayor, officially proclaimed Hispanic Heritage Month in the City of Lancaster. SACA President & CEO Jose R. Lopez was proud to be present for this meaningful recognition.

As an organization deeply rooted in Lancaster’s Hispanic community, SACA is proud to celebrate our heritage, our people, and the generations who continue to shape our city.

Today marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month!

At SACA, our Hispanic heritage is more than something we celebrate, it is part of the foundation of who we are. For generations, we have worked alongside our community to create opportunities, strengthen families, celebrate our culture, and ensure our voices are represented.

From September 15 through October 15, we honor the history, contributions, resilience, and traditions of Hispanic and Latino communities, both here in Lancaster and across the country.

Throughout the month, we look forward to celebrating the people, stories, and culture that continue to shape our community.

¡Feliz Mes de la Herencia Hispana!
