💙 The Den is buzzing—and LHS is the place to be! 💛

This week was filled with generosity, celebration, leadership, learning, and Bruin pride! Our staff enjoyed lunch provided by generous community members, students sponsored hygiene donations, and our Bruins were celebrated for positive behavior. We showcased classroom recognition walls, celebrated a football victory—with another one brewing—and watched our Lighthouse Team grow through professional development!

There’s always something great happening in the Den. The energy is high, the pride is strong, and we’re just getting started!

HOME OPENER REMINDER, BRUINS FANS!

We’re excited to see everyone this season! Before you head to the stadium this Friday, please take a moment to review the Clear Bag Policy and procedures

- METAL DETECTORS: EVERYONE Must go through the metal detectors upon entering the stadium. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time for entry.
- Only approved clear bags and permitted items will be allowed inside.
- Gates open 1 hour prior to kickoff.
- TICKETS: Tickets can be purchased through GoFan. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the gate.
- MIDDLE SCHOOL & YOUNGER: All middle school students and younger MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Please arrive early, come prepared, and help us keep game day safe and enjoyable for everyone!

Promise Neighborhood Extended Day Program - Promise Neighborhood Extended Day is the new frontier for academic excellence. The journey for cycle 1 begins September 8, 2026. The cycle 1 program and bus enrollment deadline is tomorrow, August 25. Our bus list is due to the bus office two weeks before the beginning of each cycle. Today, our Bruin staff proudly represented various colleges and universities. We proudly showed students that there are many paths and possibilities beyond high school

College Day is about more than repping your favorite school. It’s about exposure, conversations, and helping our students see themselves taking that next step. We’re planting seeds today for the campuses our Bruins will walk tomorrow!
