CROS Ministries CROS Ministries provides food for the hungry and the food insecure in collaboration with our partners in the community.

Since 1978, CROS Ministries has proudly served as “boots on the ground,” directly supporting our hungry neighbors. Our mission is to provide food for the hungry and food insecure in collaboration with our partners in the community. Our services include operating seven food pantries across multiple locations in Palm Beach County, including one in Delray Beach, and one in Martin County, distributing bags of food to families and individuals in need. Through our Caring Kitchen program in Delray Beach, we serve hot meals and deliver meals to homebound residents. Additionally, our gleaning program recovers fresh fruits and vegetables from farmers’ fields in Palm Beach, Martin, and Hendry Counties. All services are provided without regard to race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, veteran, or disability status.

Our CEO, Ruth Mageria, was honored to receive the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award, presented by the Lions Clubs International Foundation in recognition of humanitarian service. 👏💛

This moment brought together her childhood memories of the Lions Clubs in Kenya and the work she is privileged to be part of today through CROS Ministries.

We extend heartfelt thanks to the Lake Worth Lions Club for this unexpected honor and for the work they continue to do in our community in service to others! 🤩🙏

POV: You’re helping us set up at our Mobile Food Pantry! 💙☀️

The early morning begins with unloading the CROS Truck, setting up tents and removing pallets full of food. Then, we start loading food onto the tables organized by type. As families start to arrive, we finish setting up by unloading all our refrigerated produce and frozen meats. When we officially open, our volunteers begin taking individuals through our computer registration system, then they walk down the line and select their food!

Thanks to our awesome Mobile Pantry team and our amazing volunteers who help us bring our pantry on the road! You guys ROCK! 🤘🏼🚗👏

While we didn't take home an award at last week's 2026 Nonprofits First Hats Off Awards, we were honored to be nominated alongside so many great organizations making a difference in our community. Most importantly, our team had a wonderful time celebrating the impact of the nonprofit sector! 👏🎩

✨ Meet Brian Rowe, our Director of Food Pantries! ✨

Brian has worked at CROS Ministries for almost 11 years, serving as the primary point of contact for all things food pantries. He manages pantry operations, completes paperwork, facilitates training and analyzes data to ensure all 10 of our food pantry sites run equally and smoothly.

Brian enjoys the variety of each day working at CROS, saying, “I’m so thankful that I have the privilege to serve and have a hands-on impact in our community.”

Thank you for your passion, Brian! We are lucky to have you on our team. 🙏

Hear from Pastor Humberto Gonzalez about our over 20 year collaboration with Community Methodist Church in Belle Glade, FL, where we serve hundreds of individuals weekly, providing food and snacks to the community in need. 🥑🍞🥫

We are very grateful for their partnership and support, as well as serving as a host site for our Belle Glade Pantry! 👏💙
