At Mi Vecino, our work doesn’t stop when elections end. We live here. We organize here. We care about our vecinos every day of the year.🙏🏼

That’s why, since the election, we’ve been focused on giving back to the communities we’re proud to call home. We’ve helped distribute groceries to 240 families impacted by Hurricane Milton, delivered over 300 Thanksgiving Meals on Wheels to those in need, and partnered with local church leaders and elected officials to serve hot meals and host food drives across Central Florida.💙

These efforts are more than just acts of kindness, they’re what we stand for. We won’t stop fighting for our communities, our vecinos and our values.💪🏼

Happy first day of Early Voting in Florida!🗳️ Last week, we knocked 8,028 doors & made 70,674 calls, which totaled 83,150 voter contact attempts.👏🏽 We’re back on the ground today gearing up for another HUGE week!🎉

We’re helping build a broad coalition of voters who are voting YES on Amendment 4 in Florida. Here are four voters we spoke with yesterday in Central & South Florida:

Ruiz, a young Palm Beach voter, is most concerned about healthcare access. She sees abortion as healthcare, so she’s voting YES ON 4 to protect access to care for women.🙌🏽

Mrs . Weimer believes women should be the only ones making decisions about their own bodies. She is going to vote YES ON 4, in-person in Osceola County on November 5th.🗳️

Martha is a proud Christian voter who believes that abortion is a very personal issue that should be left up to the woman in question and God. She’s voting YES ON 4!💙

Cindy, a Puerto Rican who has lived in Florida for several years, firmly believes that women’s decisions are NOT transferable to the government or to politicians. That’s why she’s voting YES ON 4!!👏🏽

We’re talking to ALL voters — including men— about protecting reproductive freedom via Amendment 4 in Florida. We reached out to over 40,000 male voters this month to talk about abortion access.👏🏽 Men like Andres, Luis, Alfredo, Ramon, David, Damien and Nerio are voting YES on Amendment 4 after learning about the initiative from our team!🗳️

This morning we hosted an Amendment 4 misinformation training and launched a door canvass🗳️ in Orlando with a goal of knocking 1,000 doors today.👏🏽 The result??? 1,047 DOORS KNOCKED!! LET’S GO TEAM!!!🔥

We launched a $600,000 investment in mobilizing 206,000 youth voters in Florida.🔥 The goal?➡️ to ensure that the energy around Kamala Harris results in votes cast for Yes on 4 Florida to protect reproductive freedom & repeal Florida’s 6-week abortion ban in November!!🗳️
