🎓 FAST TIMES WITH MARK ORGILL
Apparently, Mayor Mark Orgill’s favorite responses are “I wasn’t aware,” “I’ll look into it,” and “I’ll get back to you.” “I DON’T KNOW.”
Ask Mark Orgill about Ordinance 1730 and why it wasn’t returned to the Planning Commission?
➡️ “I was not aware of that.”
Ask whether $92,500 for FIVE MONTHS of communications consulting is money well spent?
➡️ That’s a discussion for the city manager.
Ask whether the consultant’s connections influenced the selection process?
➡️ “I will find that out.”
💰 $18,500 A MONTH. TAXPAYER MONEY. AND MARK ORGILL STILL HAS HOMEWORK?
At what point does “I’ll look into it” and “I don’t know” become unacceptable?
Does Mark Orgill genuinely not know the answers, or is he avoiding the questions?
Laguna Beach residents should be concerned!
Nobody expects a mayor to know everything. But we should expect Mark Orgill to understand what he’s voting on, ask questions about how taxpayer money is spent, and hold himself accountable for decisions made under his leadership.
If Mark Orgill doesn’t know, he needs to find out. He should know about the decisions he is making with tax payer dollars. If he does know, Laguna Beach deserves straight answers.
