The event takes place Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at 102 S. Mill Street, Aroma Park, IL 60901.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!

Bring the whole family and enjoy: Hotdogs & Refreshments, Beverages and Freeze Pops. There will be FUN & GAMES FOR ALL AGES: Bounce House, Water Balloon Toss, Sidewalk Chalk, Bubbles, Hula Hoops, Tug of War, Bags (Co****le) & More! Prizes will be given away also!

Still I Rise successfully gave back to the community through its Clothing & Items Giveaway for families and individuals in need.

Community members received a wide range of donated items, including essentials, new and gently used clothing for men, women, and children, baby clothing, hygiene products, health and beauty products, household items, feminine products, fishing equipment, and more. Youth who attended also enjoyed receiving freeze pops.

Still I Rise extends its sincere gratitude to every sponsor, volunteer, donor, supporter, and community member whose generosity and dedication helped make the giveaway a tremendous success.

This Saturday, Still I Rise is giving back to the community at its Clothing & Items Giveaway to families and individuals in need. Join us on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 1PM – 2PM on the sidewalk of RE/MAX, located at 297 S. Schuyler Ave., Kankakee, IL (corner of Schuyler & Station Street).

Attendees will receive a wide range of items, including: Essentials, New & Gently Used Clothing (Men, Women & Children), Baby Clothing, Hygiene Products, Health & Beauty Products, Household Items, Feminine Products, Fishing Equipment, and more. Every youth will receive a freeze pop. Supplies are distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Yesterday, Still I Rise proudly hosted another impactful Community Giveaway through our Outreach and Disaster Relief initiative, bringing hope, support, and essential resources to families and individuals throughout the community.

Held on the sidewalk of RE/MAX in Kankakee, community members came together to receive essentials including new and gently used clothing for men, women, and children, baby clothing, socks, underwear, feminine hygiene products, household items, non-perishable foods, toys, beverages, and more. Youth attendees also enjoyed freeze pops as a part of the day’s outreach.

More than just distributing items, the event represented unity, compassion, and the power of community support. We are grateful to every sponsor, volunteer, donor, supporter, and community member who helped make this giveaway a success. Because of you, families and individuals were reminded that they are not alone and that together, we continue to rise stronger.

Still I Rise had an incredible time serving students at Edison Elementary School and Kennedy Middle School by providing life-size Mother’s Day cards for students to personalize and present to their parents.

The experience became even more special as Still I Rise Operations Manager and professional fine artist Aaron Robinson led an engaging art workshop, where students enthusiastically participated in a live drawing session that inspired creativity, self-expression and happiness.
