“It started out as a beautiful morning...”

Six months ago, everything changed for families in Aroma Park and across Kankakee County. For Sue, the March 10 tornado meant losing her home, serious physical injuries, and a new reality she never imagined.

Six months later, our families are still rebuilding. They’re still repairing homes, replacing what was lost, and figuring out what comes next.

Kankakee County's Emergency Response Fund has already provided financial support for over 200 local families - but many others can still use help. We’re still here and will continue standing alongside Aroma Park families. ❤️
