This morning Jenison High School upperclassmen volunteered their time in various classrooms to help freshmen students with their transition to high school! It was the third session of the pathways series, inspired by our Vision 2031 strategic plan, designed to help students find their path in life more easily. By improving transitions between grades, programs, and buildings, we aim to create a smooth, intentional journey from enrollment to graduation. Great work upperclassmen!

After a big road win last week, Jenison Football is preparing for its home opener tomorrow night against Forest Hills Northern! The exciting evening will also include the annual Wildcat Festival beforehand starting at 3:30 p.m. Check out these photos from yesterday’s practice in the Wildcat Fieldhouse and stay tuned for a special mic’d up video with the team releasing tomorrow morning! 🎥

The 2001 Jenison football team, the winningest football team in school history, will be honored at Thursday night’s home football game for all its achievements. Dave Larkin, the 2001 football coach, said the players, parents, and coaches are all looking forward to the reunion.

“They had a great work ethic, commitment, positive attitude, overcame adversity, never gave up, and were fun to coach,” Larkin said. “... We were the only team in Jenison Football history to play in the state championship game. Also, we won more games (11) in that season than any other team.”
