Scam Alert.
A scam that has been brought to our attention:
Individual(s) posing as vendors at the Washington County Fair are offering Vendor opportunities for the upcoming Washington County Fair. They are asking for money to be transferred to them by electronic means, this is currently being done by a fraudulent email. The Washington County Fair has a formal application process which is not online, by email, or phone. If you have sent money to any persons impersonating vendors, please contact your bank and local police.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Humane Officer Cathy Cunningham.

Officer Cunningham served our community with compassion, dedication, and a steadfast commitment to the care and protection of animals. Her work reflected a deep sense of duty and kindness, and she made a lasting impact on both the animals she protected and the people she worked alongside.

Her professionalism, empathy, and unwavering service will be remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing and working with her.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all who are mourning this loss.

Rest in peace, Officer Cunningham.

We’d like to extend a big thank you to Central Christian Academy for inviting our officers to participate in Career Day!

It was a great opportunity to connect with students, share what we do, and talk about careers in law enforcement. We truly enjoyed spending time with the kids and answering their thoughtful questions.

Our officers truly enjoyed spending time with the children and giving them a closer look at what we do every day to serve and protect our community.
