And just like that… we are DONE! The 25-26 school year is officially closed! 🎉

To our newest HTE alumni — we are so proud of you. Go take on those new adventures and challenges, and don’t you dare forget about us. We want to hear everything.

To our families — thank you for trusting us with your treasures for 179 days (okay, minus a few snow days 😂). We hope your summer is safe, fun, and full of rest. See you back here August 19th! ☀️

We held our first ever Lunch on the Lawn, and it was the perfect way to celebrate the last day of school! ☀️🌭🧺

A very special thank you to our amazing Noon Assistants who grilled and prepared more than 350 hot dog meals for our students and families. We are incredibly grateful to our generous PTO for providing lunch, snacks, and water bottles for everyone, ensuring this fun-filled event was another memory for our families to cherish.

Thank you to the many parents and family members who joined us to enjoy the sunny picnic and make special memories with their students. What a wonderful way to wrap up an incredible school year together with our Hoffman Trails Family!

Have a wonderful summer of adventures- reading (sign up for the Summer Reading Challenge at the Hilliard Library), playing outside with friends, creating family memories, noticing others and giving a helping hand, and having joy!

We want to extend a bittersweet, incredibly grateful farewell to our wonderful secretary, Mrs. Zeis, who is retiring at the end of this school year. For years, Mrs. Zeis has been the happy, smiling face welcoming everyone who enters Hoffman Trails. She has been an invaluable pillar of our school community, bringing warmth and kindness to our students, staff, and families every single day. We will miss her immensely and wish her the absolute best as she embarks on her well-deserved retirement adventures!

5th grade held their annual Market Day event today! Students have been hard at work creating products, complete with marketing campaigns and budgets. Our students loved browsing all the stores — and squishies were definitely the trend item of the year! 🛍️

✨First grade students at Hoffman Trails Elementary celebrated the end of their Wit & Wisdom Module 4 study of Cinderella stories from different cultures! Throughout the module, students compared and contrasted different versions of *Cinderella*, exploring how stories from different cultures share similar themes of kindness and forgiveness. They also built empathy by thinking about characters’ perspectives, feelings, and choices.

Students then used their creativity to write and illustrate their own Cinderella-inspired stories. They eagerly shared them with one another.

To celebrate their learning, students enjoyed a magical ball filled with bubbles, sweet treats, dancing, and lots of smiles—a joyful way to bring their learning to life!

A special thank you to our amazing first grade teachers for creating such a memorable experience and making the curriculum come alive in a meaningful and magical way for our students!
