The future of workforce development starts with opportunity.

Through the Triad Workforce Solutions Collaborative Girls in Gear event, rising 9th–12th grade girls explored the exciting world of advanced manufacturing through interactive activities, live demonstrations, and conversations with industry professionals.

Participants gained firsthand exposure to innovative technologies, skilled trades, and in-demand career pathways while learning about the opportunities available right here in our region. 🏭 💡

Through their vision and teamwork, an outdoor space has been reimagined into a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment for learning, connection, and engagement 🌿📚

We are proud to announce that our President and CEO, Rachel Collins, has been awarded the prestigious Cardinal Award by State Auditor Dave Boliek in recognition of her leadership, service, and commitment to the High Point community. 👏🏾🙌🏽🎉

The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor’s Cardinal Award is a special distinction bestowed upon some of North Carolina’s finest individuals. Established by State Auditor Dave Boliek, the award honors individuals who care for their home and community resources, much like the state bird vigilantly guards its nest. Our Leadership High Point cohort spent the day exploring health & wellness in our community! 💜🏥

Participants visited local healthcare organizations, gaining a firsthand understanding of how access, education, environment, and resources shape the well-being of High Point residents. Touring hospital departments offered a closer look at the challenges many community members face when seeking care, as well as the organizations working daily to make a difference.

The day also featured an engaging panel discussion with Dr. Adia Ross and Curtis Holloman, who shared valuable perspectives on healthcare and community wellness.
