🎃 October has been a busy month in Blythe with our partners at Peace from Chaos! 👻

It's spooky season, and we've been out in the community every chance we get! From pumpkin patch pop-ups, to helping out at Desert Sounds, to tonight's Family Night, we are so grateful for the chance to connect with the families who make Blythe special. Be A Mentor loves our whole community, and we are proud to show our support however we can. 🧡

What a beautiful experience! Sharing from our sister page, Be A Mentor: Rural Program -- We are so grateful to Marzette's House and the Palmdale Women's Club for putting on this special event. 💐
On Saturday, October 10th, several of our young girls from the Palmdale Be A Mentor program attended a Princess Tea Party hosted by Marzette's House. 💖
Every girl was announced as a Princess when she arrived, and everyone clapped for her by name. Those who wore their own tiaras kept them on, and those who didn't were given one. The girls were also encouraged to help one another by fixing a crooked crown, a small reminder to lift each other up. 🫶
They learned about tea, the proper way to drink it, and a few etiquette lessons along the way. ☕
What a beautiful way for girls to grow and bond!

On September 30, we had a wonderful time attending the Antelope Valley Chambers of Commerce’s Passport to the Antelope Valley at Element Hotel! 🏨✨

It was a fun evening filled with connections, conversations, and a guided tour highlighting some of Palmdale’s finest local businesses, entrepreneurs, and service providers—all gathered together in one place.

We loved the opportunity to meet new businesses and community partners while enjoying some delicious snacks and lattes along the way! ☕️
