10/30/2026

🧡🍁We tore off into the early morning headed north to Jaemor Farms. We rounded up some apples, breads, pork skins, apple and peach pies, boiled peanuts, and a ton of other goodies.
Then we finished off the perfect Fall day with lunch at MJ’s Buffet. We ate until we couldn’t eat anymore, and then we ate some more!🍁🧡

We can’t wait to go on our next trip soon!

Yesterday we worked on our Fall masterpieces! Look how cute these turned out! Puzzle trees with little intricate details on each one.

Our dearest friend, James Roach, donated this puzzle many months ago. Recently, Mr. David Simmons, put the puzzle together in his memory. We hung it in James’ favorite spot, The Pool Room.

Today we sing Happy Birthday to Jacob. Jacob is our Hart Transit Director. Today he turns 60 which means he’s legally able to participate in the fun we have every day 😂😂😂

We appreciate all he does and all the aggravation and havoc he causes daily!

When you have a hare-brained idea, and the seniors get to join in. But. Really they just came for the hotdogs and Backstreet BBQ slaw for lunch 😂😂😂

We had a blast today with our Summer Glow Party! There were glow in the dark games, disco music, blinky lights and cool shades. A fun time was had by all.

Our dearest friend, James, blessed us every day in many ways. Mostly it was his funny laugh or his big smile.
He was a hustler, and a pool shark in his own mind. He was a wheeler and a dealer of many things. He would bring in loads of dish soap, laundry detergent and paper products. He made sure we got in on a deal he would bring.
We will miss his precious soul. Until we meet again, friend! We love you! Always.
