The Hampstead Lions recently visited with Cysti Fibrosis of Nothern New England and donated 22 Build-A-Bear Teddies for their C.F. clients and presented a check for $1,100.

Past Ditrict Governor and Hampstead Lion Peter LaPointe and Hampstead Lion Bob Bedrosian met with Jodie Tsekrekas, the Development Director for Cystic Fibrosis to deliver the donation.

Our Club President, Bob Leblanc, is running to home base this July to support Veterans, Service Members, and Families. Bob is an Air Force Veteran, and has been a valuable member of our club for many years.

"I have two goals to accomplish by participating in 'Run to Home Base'. I hope to raise awareness of the need for facilities like MGH Home Base. I want to raise awareness that this facility is available to any veteran in need of the medical care that Home Base provides.

Also, I would like to raise funds so that a veteran in need can receive medical care at no additional cost. Please consider donating to support the mission of Home Base at Massachusetts General Hospital!"

This Saturday we will be at the Hampstead Middle School collecting Electronics and scrap metal to recycle from 8am-12pm.

All are welcome! You do not need to be a Hampstead resident. We hope to see you this weekend!

Today we are around town collecting money for White Cane Day! The funds raised go back into the town through various projects like our Easter Pancake Breakfast, Electronic Recycling Events, Christmas parade, and more!
