The Haledon Police Department is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Haledon Junior Police Academy!

This exciting week-long program gives students the opportunity to experience firsthand what it takes to become a law enforcement officer while building leadership, discipline, confidence, and teamwork.

📅 Junior Police Academy Dates:
Monday, July 13, 2026 – Friday, July 17, 2026

👥 Eligibility:
Open to Haledon residents entering 6th Grade through 12th Grade.

Cadets will participate in:
✅ Physical Training
✅ CPR Familiarization
✅ Team Building Exercises
✅ Criminal Investigations Introduction
✅ Community Policing Activities
✅ Special Demonstrations & More

🍽️ Uniforms, lunch, and academy T-shirts will be provided.

County Teacher of the Year Honored by Board of County Commissioners.

Passaic County Teacher of the Year for 2025-2026, Mrs. Alyssa Bitar, was honored by the Passaic County Board of County Commissioners at their regular meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2026! She was recognized for our outstanding contributions to education and the students at PC Manchester Regional High School.

On Thursday, 06/04/26, the PC MRHSD Board of Education engaged in four hours of team building, evaluation, and goal setting. A special thanks to Ms. Weinstein for facilitating Project Adventure team building activities! Boardsmanship is an unpaid work of heart. Last night, we proudly welcomed our newest members into the Spanish Honor Society! 🇪🇸✨

We celebrated academic excellence, leadership, and a passion for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. A special moment of the evening was the pinning ceremony, where our second-year members were pinned by the newest inductees, symbolizing the unity and growth of our chapter.

Students from our science classes had a great time exploring the Bronx Zoo on Monday! From amazing animals to unique habitats, students enjoyed a day of learning, discovery, and fun outside the classroom! Thank you to all of our students for representing MRHS so well. We hope everyone had a great experience.
