We are excited to announce that recently we have been notified by FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency that we are 1 of 2 fire departments in Sussex County to receive this year's Assistance to Firefighter Grant. The awarding of this grant will give some of our newest members of the Green Township Volunteer Fire Department a new complete set of structural firefighting gear that will fit them precisely. We would like to thank FEMA for their consideration and all of those members that were vital in obtain this grant.
