Today, our nation bows its head in collective sorrow as we receive the devastating news of three brave American service members who made the ultimate sacrifice during operations regarding Iran.
These brave men and women answered the call to serve in one of the most uncertain and dangerous regions of the world. They stood in harm’s way not for recognition or glory, but out of duty — a quiet, steadfast commitment to protect the freedoms and security that millions of others live under each day. In their final moments, they embodied the very meaning of service, courage, and sacrifice.

Today, we mourn not only soldiers, but sons, daughters, friends, and loved ones whose absence will leave an immeasurable silence in the hearts of those who knew them best.
