Imagine an unexpected hospital stay without a toothbrush, clean socks or even a washcloth. Those simple essentials can make a stressful situation a little easier.

We have most of what we need for Emergency Go Bags for our senior clients, but weโ€™re still missing a few items. Our volunteer team will be packing the bags on September 12, so we need the remaining supplies by September 10.

This past Thursday, our Go Van Go crew headed to Catfish Parlour for lunch, with Fernando, our new Fleet Manager, behind the wheel AND behind the camera! ๐Ÿ“ธ

This is what we love about Go Van Go. Itโ€™s a chance to get out, share a meal, laugh with friends and maybe get to know someone you@ wouldnโ€™t have met otherwise.

Faith in Action Georgetown provides free transportation for our clients, Georgetown seniors 65+ who no longer drive. That includes Go Van Go grocery runs and group outings, plus one-on-one rides with ourCatfish Parlour wonderful volunteer drivers to doctor appointments, errands and other essential destinations. ๐Ÿš™And along the way, our clients and volunteers often get to know each other and form some pretty special friendships.๐Ÿค—
