Instagram told us not to post a 3-minute reel because it might get hidden. That’s okay — we’re posting it anyway.
We’re not doing this for an algorithm. We’re doing it for us, for our kids, and for the community we built Little Locals for.
This journey has been incredible, exhausting, emotional, rewarding, and honestly difficult in ways we could’ve never fully prepared for. At the end of the day, we’re essentially a two-person team — husband and wife, both working full-time jobs while pouring every weekend, late night, and extra ounce of energy into bringing this vision to life.
Our kids have been part of nearly every step along the way. That has made this experience more meaningful than we can explain… and yes, definitely slowed the process at times too ;)
For the last year, we’ve been moving 100 miles an hour trying to build something that felt needed — a safe, clean, fun place where kids can stretch their imagination and their legs, while parents can actually feel comfortable too. A space designed for families.
It’s hard to even process that grand opening is this Saturday because we haven’t really stopped long enough to soak any of it in.
The support, encouragement, and positive feedback we’ve already received has meant more than people probably realize. When you’re investing so much personal time, energy, and money into something, hearing the community say “this is exactly what we needed” reminds you why you kept going.
We truly hope this space brings your family as much joy as it’s already brought ours.
