Following September 11, 2001, NVFS helped to provide trauma recovery services to individuals and families impacted by the attacks.

Twenty-five years later, that commitment to helping our neighbors recover, rebuild and move forward continues.

This September, proceeds from the Keegan Theatre’s A Beautiful Blue Morning Sky will benefit NVFS, helping us continue providing the resources and support individuals and families need to build stability and brighter futures. 🎭 '

NVFS is proud to endorse Arlington County Virginia – Government’s Food Security Strategic Plan, a shared roadmap for strengthening food security across Arlington.

Developed with input from community partners, the plan will help guide local strategy and strengthen coordination to help ensure residents have access to nutritious, culturally responsive food.

We’re proud to be part of this collaborative effort and to continue working alongside partners to address food insecurity in our region. 💙

Loudoun County Supervisor Mike Turner recently visited NVFS’ new Ashburn Farm Early Childhood Education Center, spending time reading with our young learners and seeing the center in action.

At the center, children learn, grow and build a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond in a supportive early learning environment.
