The Dearly Departed Players present The Dunmore Cemetery Tour -- where the present - meets the past! Cemetery Gates 400 Church St. Dunmore, Pa. Admission is free.

The Dunmore Cemetery Tour is a wonderful walk through our history. Costumed interpreters tell stories of our past in vignettes along the tour route -- join us as we stroll through the past and visit with those who helped make our heritage. The tours take place the first two Sundays in October at 2:00 p.m. Private tours are available by contacting Julie Esty at 344-3819.

The giant Levi's that were shown in the cemetery on tour day were shipped back to Levi Strauss yesterday. If you missed them - due to the tail end of the hurricane on Sunday - you can see a bit more on a an installment of Unzipped from Levi Strauss. If we turn up there - we'll let you know.

The Dearly Departed would like to extend a very sincere thank you to everyone who helped us along the way and everyone who joined us on the tour and on Facebook this tour season. Sorry the weather didn't hold for yesterday -------- but - we will be back next year with an all new tour. We are so sorry to have had to cancel this year. The rain did not let up in time and going through the cemetery -- it would have been a safety factor. BUT -------- on the bright side -- twenty seven years and only rain day is a pretty good run. We will look forward to next year when we start a new streak of twenty seven years!!!!
