👻 🎃 This is Michelle Kokindo, Assistant Principal of the Dunmore Elementary Center with a few reminders for Halloween. Friday, the parade will begin at 10:50. Both roads leading into campus will be closed off, and parents are asked to park off campus and walk in to view the parade. This is due to staff and high school students occupying the majority of the parking on campus. Immediately following the parade, the students will re-enter the building, gather their belongings, and the walkers will be dismissed. If you did not fill out the Halloween dismissal form stating that your student will be a walker on Friday, then they will be sent home whatever way we have recorded here at school. We will not allow parents on the ramp, ringing the buzzer, or in the building to have their students dismissed or to change their dismissal plan. All changes need to be sent in the form of a note first thing in the morning with your student. After the walkers are dismissed, we will run one bus run to take the remainder of the students home. Please be at the bus stops early as the bus run will be short and quick. Please keep home any play knives, swords, or any other weapons that accompany your student’s costume. Finally, candy or treats are allowed to be brought in on Friday by students. With your cooperation, we are hoping for another successful Halloween Parade! Thank you.
