Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging Arrowhead Aging is the designated Area Agency on Aging serving the seven counties of Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and St.

Louis counties in the Arrowhead region. The Arrowhead Area Agency on Aging (AAAA) is the designated area agency on aging for the seven county Arrowhead region. Area agencies on aging were established under the Older Americans Act (OAA) to respond to the needs of Americans aged 60 and over in every state. They are designated by the Minnesota Board on Aging to provide three critical functions: OAA f

unding administration, community planning and service development, and information and assistance. The Arrowhead AAA is a division of the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission.

👋Stop by our table at the Hibbing Community Connect - the event designed as a one-stop-shop providing a variety of free resources for people and families of all ages and abilities.

📆️The event will be held on Wednesday, May 13, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Hibbing Memorial Building, 400 East 23rd Street in Hibbing. The Community Connect helps connect people to resources available from agencies and non-profits in the community.

🔗The event offers a free meal, hygiene items; housing supports; resources for older adults, children and family services, health insurance information, mental health and substance use disorder resources, warrant resolutions; vaccine and disease education, and more.

🚌Arrowhead Transit will provide free transportation to and from the event on existing routes.
