Along with our fish fry we are holding a raffle.

There will be 3 winners:
1st place- Wagon w/ camping items
2nd place- crawfish/seafood boil set
3rd place- $50 gift card

The drawing will be held on Sept 26th immediately following or fish fry fundraiser. We will do a Facebook live video to draw for the winners.

Our day started out with a Blood Drive, then an illegal burn, and then a fire spreading to the woods. We strive to do good for our community and not only donate our time but our blood as well to help save the lives of who need it.

We received 15 donations of whole blood today that will potentially save 45 lives.

If you ever have the desire to volunteer please reach out to us. Our meeting nights are Tuesday at 7pm all you need to do is show up. You do not need any special skill set to volunteer. We will train you to the capacity that you feel comfortable doing. Everything helps from keeping the station and trucks clean, to medical response, to Fire fighting.

UPDATE: Roadway back open in both directions.

Fire crews are still on scene of a 2 vehicle MVA at FM 1008 and CR 639. We expect this to last until 5:45 or 6pm. Roadway is closed to one lane alternating traffic.
