🌱🎃 A little pumpkin hunting and a whole lot of fun at Lil’ Sprouts today!

Our little sprouts searched for pumpkins and little red trucks, and they all did SO good! 👏❤️

Then we made skeletons with cowboy boots and their choice of a little hot chocolate or iced coffee to hold! 💀🤠☕ Those skeletons sure were bougie! 😂✨

We also celebrated one of our sweet sprouts! 🥳 Happy Birthday, Fernando! 🎂🎉 Thank you to his mommy for bringing treats to share with everyone and making our day extra sweet! ❤️

Another special day of learning, creating, and making memories together! 🌱🧡

🌸📚 A Little Introduction From Your New Assistant Librarian! 📚🌸

Hello, Crane community! ❤️

For those who may not know me, I’m Lorina Ramirez, and I’m so blessed to continue my journey at the Crane County Library, now as your Assistant Librarian! 🥰

Crane has been my home since 2005. It’s where I’ve raised my two wonderful children, AnnMarie and Angel, and made so many beautiful memories. Crane isn’t just where I live, it’s HOME! 🏡❤️

I’ve been part of the Crane County family since 2019 and joined the library in 2023, where I’ve loved every minute since day one!

One of my greatest joys is working with our little ones through Summer Reading, summer activities, and of course, Lil’ Sprouts 🌱, which I’m so excited to continue!

As I begin this new chapter alongside Roger, I look forward to new beginnings, fresh ideas, and making our library a warm and welcoming place for everyone. With God first and our community in our hearts, we are excited for what’s ahead! 🙏🏻❤️

Always remember, our library is YOUR library! 📚 Never hesitate to reach out or simply stop by to say hello. Our doors and hearts are always open!

With love and gratitude,
Lorina Ramirez
Assistant Librarian
Crane County Library

Come see us! We’d love to welcome you! 🥰

📚 A NEW CHAPTER AT THE CRANE COUNTY LIBRARY! 📚

It is with great excitement, gratitude, and humility that I introduce myself as the new Crane County Library Director — Roger Gonzalez!

Having been employed with the Crane County Library for the past 12 years, this library has become much more than just a workplace to me. Having grown up in this wonderful community, I have a deep love and appreciation for the people, families, and traditions that make Crane such a special place to call home.

I am truly humbled, privileged, and grateful to step into this new role and continue serving the community that has given me so much.

I look forward to building on the wonderful foundation already established, creating new opportunities, welcoming new faces, and continuing to make our library a place where everyone feels welcome, valued, and inspired.

Whether you’re stopping by to check out a good book, use our resources, participate in a program, explore what we have to offer, or simply come in for a friendly conversation, my door is always open!

Thank you to everyone who has offered encouragement and support as I begin this exciting new chapter. It really means a great deal to me.

I look forward to serving you and working together to make the Crane County Library an ongoing resource for our community.

Here’s to new beginnings, continued growth, and many wonderful chapters ahead!

Sincerely,

Roger Gonzalez

🌱🚒 Lil’ Sprouts had a FIRE-TASTIC day! 🔥🐄❤️

Today we had some very special visitors from the Crane Fire Department 🚒❤️ for Fire Prevention Week! Our Lil’ Sprouts learned all about fire safety, including how to STOP, DROP & ROLL, how to GET OUT & STAY OUT, and when to CALL 911! 🚨

We even had a surprise visit from Daisy the Fire Cow! 🐄🔥 The firefighters sang a couple of fun songs with us and shared a hilarious book about Daisy that had us laughing! 📚😂🎶

And of course, we couldn’t leave out our sweet library dog, Henry! 🐶❤️ He even got to take a few pictures with the firefighters and Daisy!

We definitely had such a wonderful morning filled with learning, laughter, and lots of smiles! 🥰

❤️🚒 A HUGE THANK YOU to Crane Fire Department for taking time out of your busy day to visit the Crane County Library and make this such a fun and memorable experience for our Lil’ Sprouts! We truly appreciate everything you do for our community! 🙏🏻❤️

🌱 Learning is always more fun when we have special visitors! 🚒🐄💕
