❤️ Welcome to our very first Full Heart Friday! ❤️

We begin our week with Hearts Behind the Hope, and what better way to end it than by sharing someone who fills our hearts?

Today, that someone is Tanya Cobb.

When Tanya heard we needed childcare during classes, she showed up with ideas, encouragement, and a heart ready to help. We are so BLESSED to have her caring for our littlest ones while their moms and teens are in class.

She brings joy, keeps the kiddos busy, and makes sure they’re behaving, too! 😊 There is so much love in the way she leads and cares for them. Knowing our children are in loving hands gives our moms the chance to focus on learning and building their families’ futures.

Tanya, I hope you know how much you mean to us. I am thankful for you, our moms are thankful for you, and our kiddos get to feel your kindness firsthand. Thank you for giving your time, sharing your heart, and loving our families. Our hearts are fuller because of you. ❤️

That when I say “not today” to something you want, I am thinking about the tomorrow you are working so hard to build, a paid bill, a little savings, a home where you can finally breathe easier.

That you don’t have to buy your children something to make up for a hard season. Your love has been there through it all. A picnic, an afternoon at the park, your laughter beside theirs, these are beautiful things to give them.

That boundaries can give your heart room to heal. You can love someone and still need distance from the hurt. You deserve the chance to find your footing and discover what peace feels like.

I wish you could see it now…
That every dollar saved and every debt paid is giving you more choices. One day, I hope you will look around at the life you have built and whisper with pride, “I did this.” The help you accepted along the way will always be part of your courage.

The love behind my “no.” I know it can be hard to hear, especially when you are tired of going without. I carry your hopes with me in those hard conversations. I want to see you have the future you told me you dreamed of.

The tears I have shed because I care. When you feel like leaving before your work here is finished, I wish I could show you how far you have come. Please let us walk beside you a little longer. You deserve support while you grow.

How much courage I see in you. How deeply you love your children. How worthy you are of the peace you are working toward.
I believe you can do this, sweet mama.

A pink ribbon can hold so much. A name. A face. Someone you pray will get good news. Someone you would give anything to hug again. 💗

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re thinking of the women sitting in waiting rooms, trying to hear everything the doctor is saying. The mothers wondering how to tell their children. The women who finish an appointment and go right back to caring for everyone else, even when they need someone to care for them.

At Phoenix Pass, we want you to know that you don’t have to find an inspiring way to talk about what you’re going through. You can be tired. You can be afraid. You can ask for help. You are worthy of love and care through all of it.

We honor those living with breast cancer, those navigating life after treatment, and those we miss so deeply.

May our compassion last longer than October. May we remember to call, to show up, and to keep showing up because no one should have to wonder whether they are facing this alone. 🎀

Happy Monday! ❤️ It’s time for another Hearts Behind the Hope, and today I’m grateful for the wonderful people at Positive Childhood Alliance in Rockdale County!

From the amazing Executive Director Diane Howington, to Tatyana Echols, who spends her Tuesdays teaching our families, to Meridith Hutcheson, who lovingly teaches our moms about car seat safety, and every amazing staff member who lends a hand, this team shows up with kindness, knowledge, and a heart for our families.

Their support means our moms have more people encouraging them, more tools to care for their children, and more reminders that they don’t have to figure everything out alone.

There is something so beautiful about one nonprofit pouring into another. We each bring something different, but together, we can do so much more for the families who need us.

To our friends at Positive Childhood Alliance: thank you for being in our corner and caring so deeply about the moms and children at Phoenix Pass. I am personally so thankful for you, and our families are blessed to have you walking beside them. This is community, and we are better because you’re part of ours. ❤️

Today, Pastor David Armstrong-Reiner and the congregation of Epiphany Lutheran Church welcomed us and gave Shaniqua, one of our Phoenix Pass moms, the opportunity to share her story and what this program means to her. ❤️

It takes courage to stand before others and share a piece of your life. Shaniqua, we are so proud of you. We see how hard you are working, the choices you make for your children, and the determination you bring to building a stable future beyond Phoenix Pass. We hope you see the strength in yourself that we see in you.

Pastor David and Epiphany Lutheran, thank you for welcoming us with such kindness and listening with open hearts. When our moms share their stories and find a community cheering them on, it reminds them that they don’t have to make this journey alone.

Thank you for being part of that community and for helping our families feel seen, loved, and supported. ❤️

We are sooooo thankful for the beautiful hearts of She Excels from Excel Church! ❤️ Your kindness, love, prayers, and generous diaper donation mean so much to our families at Phoenix Pass.

We have so many littles right now, and keeping up with diaper needs has been a challenge. Our moms are working hard to provide for their children while saving for a home of their own. Having diapers for their babies gives them a little breathing room and allows them to keep putting money toward that dream.

To She Excels at Excel Church: thank you for loving our families so thoughtfully. Our community is blessed to have you, and we are grateful beyond words. You are helping our moms care for their babies today while preparing for the day they turn the key to a place of their own. ❤️

All of us at Phoenix Pass are holding the Salem High School football players, students, staff, and their families close in our hearts following last night’s bus accident.

Salem High School is a beloved part of our community. To everyone recovering and every loved one carrying worry, please know you are surrounded by neighbors who care deeply about you.

We are praying for healing and comfort in the days ahead. Our love is with the entire Salem family. ❤️

💙 A heartfelt thank-you to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Phi Omicron Zeta, for your generous donation of diapers, wipes, and food pantry items for our families at Phoenix Pass!

We go through a LOT of diapers here, and having these everyday essentials on hand is such a blessing. Your kindness means our moms have a little less to worry about as they work hard, save, and build a stable future for their children.

Thank you for showing our families that their community cares. There is something so special about being able to tell a mom, “We have what you need,” because someone like you chose to give. 💙

To EVERYONE who came out to Chick-fil-A for Phoenix Pass Spirit Night last night, thank you! From familiar faces we were so happy to see to new friends we were grateful to meet, you made the evening so special.
