✨ The End of an Era ✨

Today, we celebrate and thank an incredible leader, supporter, and friend to Michigan Avenue School — Amy Eubanks. As her time serving as PTO President comes to an end, it is impossible to fully express the gratitude our school community feels for everything she has poured into MAS.

Amy has been the heart behind countless events, celebrations, fundraisers, and moments that made our school feel extra special for students, staff, and families. Her dedication, leadership, kindness, and willingness to always step in and help never went unnoticed. From early mornings to late nights, she continuously gave her time and energy to make MAS a better place for everyone.

Because of Amy, students made memories they will never forget, teachers felt supported, and families felt connected. Her impact on Michigan Avenue will continue long after her final year as PTO President.

Thank you, Amy, for leading with such passion and love for our school community. MAS is better because of you, and your legacy will always be part of Michigan Avenue. 💙💛

🎓❤️ Today was a special and emotional moment at Michigan Avenue as our 5th graders took their final walk through the halls. What feels like the end of one chapter is truly the beginning of an exciting new journey ahead.

As they walked the halls one last time, they were celebrated by teachers, staff, and younger students who have watched them grow into leaders, role models, and incredible young people. From kindergarten memories to now, these students have filled our building with laughter, learning, friendships, and so many unforgettable moments.

We are so proud of each and every one of them and cannot wait to see all the amazing things they accomplish in middle school and beyond. Once a Wolverine, always a Wolverine! 💙💛🐾🎓

🎤✨ Our 3rd-5th Grade Lip Sync Battle was an absolute HIT this afternoon! The energy, creativity, costumes, props, and performances were incredible from start to finish. Our students and teachers brought the house down with so much fun and school spirit! 🎶💃🕺

What an unforgettable morning at our K-2 Lip Sync Battle! 🎤✨ Our students brought the energy, creativity, laughter, and school spirit to the stage. From amazing costumes and props to crowd engagement and superstar performances, every class gave it their all and made this event so much fun for everyone involved! We are so proud of the confidence, teamwork, and excitement our students showed today.

Our Wolverines are proving that hard work and reading success go hand in hand! 📚🐾

Michigan Avenue students earned an incredible 47,890.8 AR points schoolwide this year! We are so proud of the dedication, perseverance, and love for reading shown by our students.

A special shoutout to our 4th graders for leading the way with an amazing 14,873.5 AR points earned! 😊 Their commitment to reading and learning has truly set the bar high.

🎉 Perfect Attendance Celebration 🎉

We are so proud of our K–4th grade students at Michigan Avenue Elementary School for their dedication and commitment to being at school every day! Perfect attendance is a huge accomplishment, and these students have shown responsibility, perseverance, and a strong commitment to learning all year long.

🎓✨ Kindergarten Graduation Day! ✨🎓

Today, we celebrated a very special milestone as our kindergarten students officially graduated! From learning letters and numbers to growing in confidence, kindness, and independence, these students have accomplished so much this year.

We are incredibly proud of all they have learned and the bright futures ahead of them. Thank you to our amazing teachers, staff, and families for supporting our little learners every step of the way. 💙

Kindergarten may be ending, but their journey is just beginning—and we can’t wait to see where learning leads next!

🚗🧱 Third grade had an AWESOME day of hands-on STEAM learning at Bricks & Minifigs!

Students rotated through exciting LEGO®-based stations where they became engineers, designers, creators, and problem-solvers. One challenge had students collaborating to design and build race cars, testing their creations to see which designs could travel the fastest and farthest. Another station encouraged creativity and imagination as students constructed detailed animal habitats using LEGO bricks. 🐘🌿

Throughout the trip, students practiced teamwork, perseverance, communication, and critical thinking while applying important STEAM concepts in a fun and interactive environment. Learning truly came to life today, and our third graders did an amazing job representing Michigan Avenue! 💙💛

⭐🎸 Celebrating our Vulcan Rockstars! 🎸⭐

Today, we celebrated our incredible Vulcan Rockstar Award winners with a special pizza party! 🍕 These students have shown excellence, outstanding effort, and leadership by setting a positive example for the peers around them each and every day.

We are so proud of the way our students continue to shine both inside and outside the classroom. Their hard work, character, and determination truly make MAS a special place to learn and grow.
