32 Years of Service
On August 8, 2026, our very own Officer Rivers celebrated an incredible 32 years in law enforcement! 🇺🇸👮♂️
Officer Rivers wears a lot of hats around here—Community Outreach, FTO, Patrol, Investigations, and Background Investigator. Throughout his career, he’s served as a Sergeant, Detective, Crisis Intervention Officer, Hostage Negotiator, FTO, Edgerton Chief of Police and even worked in the Jail Division for a Kansas Sheriff’s Office.
But his most important titles are husband and father.
Thank you, Officer Rivers, for 32 years of dedicated service! We’re lucky to have you on the team—and even though you’re eligible to retire soon, we’re not quite ready to let you go yet!
Here’s to a few more years.
