Searcy Creek Greenway and Hidden Valley Park master plan layout. Plan includes multi-use trail from MO HWY 210 to Claycomo. Searcy Creek Parkway connections from Parvin Road to Topping Elementary and from 48th Street to Maple Park Middle School. It also includes a woodland dog park and adventure trail, multiple pocket parks/playgrounds. Around Maplewood Elementary an Outdoor Educational Center and an arboretrum.

Kcmo Piac's 2015 recommendations for District 1. GREAT year for Maplewood Elementary - North Kansas City School District and Ravenwood Elementary. Maplewood will be receiving $285k curbs and sidealks and Ravenwood $60k for sidewalks. Maplewood has already recieved $250k from the Searcy Creek TIF so their total investment this year will be $535k.
