Funding cuts from the Federal government and the Chicago Department of Public Health are putting patients in jeopardy of not receiving medications and healthcare, especially those who are served by organizations that are led by people who are Black, LGBTQ and Women.
Advocating for equitable funding is a responsible action that is necessary in order to serve our communities. That’s why you see us in the news and in civic engagement. It’s our duty.
