🌞📚 Flippin' Into Summer Learning! 💧🥤

Our 2nd and 3rd-grade summer school students put their skills to the test during a fun Water Bottle Flip Challenge in the library!

Before the challenge began, students made predictions about which position would lead to the most successful flips—standing, sitting, or kneeling. Then they collected and analyzed data to see if their predictions matched the results. 📊🔍

This hands-on activity combined fun, critical thinking, and real-world math skills as students practiced making predictions, gathering data, and drawing conclusions. Best of all, there were plenty of smiles and successful flips along the way! 🎉

Who knew a water bottle flip could teach so much? 😊

Congratulations to Master Sergeant Courtney Bailey and Major Scott Norman on being selected as “AFJROTC Outstanding Instructors” for the 2025-26 school year! 👏

This honor recognizes instructors who go above and beyond each day and truly represent the “Best of the Best” in JROTC. Their dedication, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our cadets, school, and community.

👥 Available for students entering grades 7–12

💉 FREE Shot Clinic: 5:00–7:00 PM
Important immunizations for the upcoming school year:

• Incoming 8th Graders must have proof of:
✅ Tdap Vaccine
✅ 1st Meningococcal Vaccine

• Incoming 12th Graders must have proof of:
✅ 2nd Meningococcal Vaccine

These vaccines are required before the start of the August 2025 school year.

🏃 Free Sports Physicals begin at 5:30 PM
This is a great opportunity to complete the MSHSAA-required physical for students participating in athletics and school activities next year.

Our 8th grade scientists put surface tension to the test! 🫧🔬

Students investigated how different soap solutions affect bubble formation and stability by creating and comparing bubbles from four unique soap mixtures. From bubble size and durability to how easily they formed, students explored how changing ingredients can impact physical properties and outcomes.

Hands-on learning like this helps bring science concepts to life while encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and critical thinking in the classroom!

Today we celebrated an AMAZING year at our Carl Junction Primary 2–3 End of the Year Assembly!

We recognized students for academic growth, positive behavior, attendance, Reading Circle accomplishments, Outstanding Student awards, and so much more. We are incredibly proud of the hard work, growth, and durable skills our students demonstrated throughout the school year.

A huge thank you to our teachers, staff, families, and community for supporting our students every step of the way. It truly takes a team, and we are so thankful for this incredible school community.
