☘️ Burns FFA Takes Over Ireland – Day 2! ☘️

Another incredible day exploring the history, culture, and spirit of Ireland!

Today, our group visited the magnificent St Patrick’s Cathedral, explored the fascinating stories of Irish immigration at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, and took a guided tour through the heart of Dublin.

The day wrapped up with an unforgettable Irish Folklore Evening filled with storytelling, music, laughter, and traditions that have been passed down through generations.

Travel isn’t just about seeing new places—it’s about understanding people, cultures, and history. Our members are gaining experiences and perspectives that will stay with them for a lifetime.

Tomorrow we leave the city behind and head into the Irish countryside to continue our adventure. Stay tuned—Burns FFA is just getting started! 🇮🇪

🇮🇪 Day 1 in Ireland is officially in the books! 🇮🇪

Today we experienced the sights, sounds, and charm of the beautiful Howth — a vibrant fishing village filled with incredible coastal views, rich history, and unforgettable culture. From the rugged shoreline to the bustling harbor, it was the perfect introduction to the Emerald Isle.

We then made our way into the heart of Dublin, taking in the energy of the city, its amazing music, friendly people, and vibrant atmosphere. Everywhere you turn, there’s a story to hear, a song to enjoy, and a piece of Irish culture to experience.

For many of our members, this is their first international travel experience, and what an incredible way to begin the journey. The world is a classroom, and Burns FFA is proud to be learning beyond the walls of our school.

More adventures, memories, and learning opportunities await tomorrow!

“Learning to Do, Doing to Learn” isn’t just a line in the FFA Motto—it’s a way of life for Burns FFA.

This week, our members had the opportunity to lend a hand to one of our FFA families out at the ranch, and when the call came, our students stepped up. From hard work and teamwork to gaining real-world agricultural experience, it was a great reminder of what FFA is all about.

A huge thank you to the Harding Ranch for hosting us, providing an amazing lunch, and hooking our members up with some awesome swag. We appreciate your support and the opportunity to learn through hands-on experiences.

Now it’s time for the next adventure… ✈️🇮🇪

Next stop: Ireland!

The Burns FFA members put service, teamwork, and agriculture skills into action at the 17 Ranch in Kersey Colorado. Ten members had the opportunity to gain hands-on cattle branding experience while learning how to rope, drag, brand, and band cattle.

Helping work roughly 150 head of calves, the team got down and dirty in the arena while building real-world livestock handling skills and making lasting memories. After a fun and engaging day of hard work, members were treated to lunch and a guided tour of the ranch.

Experiences like these showcase the value of agricultural education and the importance of preserving the western way of life.

Last few days of school and the Burns FFA Chapter is still hard at work making our community a cleaner, better place for all. Today, despite the weather, our members headed out to clean our Adopt-A-Highway section along the Carpenter Highway.

A dirty job turned into a great day full of laughs, jokes, teamwork, and pride in serving our community. We’re proud of these members for showing that leadership doesn’t stop when the school year winds down.

Service. Leadership. Community. That’s Burns FFA. 💙💛

Big wheels, bright smiles, and lessons that matter! 🚜🔥

What’s better than a tractor parade and Agriculture Safety Day? Watching our Burns FFA members step up and put on one heck of an event for the Burns and Carpenter 5th & 6th grade classes! From equipment awareness to everyday farm and ranch safety, these students learned how to stay smart and safe around agriculture equipment while having a blast doing it.

A huge thank you to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, High West Energy, and the Burns Volunteer Fire Department for helping make this special day possible. Community partnerships like these help shape the future of agriculture and rural safety!

What an incredible night at the Burns FFA Blue & Gold Banquet! 💙💛

We celebrated a year full of hard work, leadership, growth, and success as we recognized our Discovery, Greenhand, and Chapter Degree recipients, honored our outstanding seniors, and elected the next generation of Burns FFA Chapter Officers.

Thank you to all of our members, parents, supporters, alumni, and community members who continue to invest in the future of agriculture and leadership. Your support means the world to our chapter.

The school year may be ending, but one thing is certain… FFA season never ends. 🌾🔥
