🔬🌾 FROM WYOMING TO THE NATIONAL STAGE! 🌾🔬

🧡🖤 TWO AMAZING BURNS FFA MEMBERS. ONE BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT. NATIONAL RECOGNITION! 🖤🧡

Help us congratulate freshman Amelia Holmes and Rylie Vetter on earning a BRONZE EMBLEM at the National FFA Agriscience Fair! 🥉🇺🇸

These two outstanding young ladies took on an important real-world issue: antibiotic resistance and its impact on agriculture, animal health, human health, and our food supply.

Modern medicine relies heavily on antibiotics, but as antibiotic-resistant bacteria become more common, protecting the effectiveness of these treatments is increasingly important. Amelia and Rylie explored this issue and the connection between antibiotic use in livestock and the health of animals, people, and our food system.

Their hard work and dedication earned them STATE CHAMPIONS at the Wyoming State FFA Convention this past spring, and now they've taken that success to the NATIONAL stage! 🏆

Think about that for a minute… These are freshman members already conducting meaningful research, tackling real-world agricultural challenges, and representing Burns, Wyoming, among the best in the nation!

🔥 THIS is agricultural education in action! 🔥

We couldn't be prouder of Amelia and Rylie and the time, effort, and curiosity they've invested in this project. This is an incredible accomplishment, and we can't wait to see what these two accomplish next!

🧡🖤 BURNS FFA IS HERE TO SERVE! LET’S FILL THAT PANTRY! 🖤🧡

At Burns FFA, we believe in more than agriculture, leadership, and competition. We believe in taking care of our neighbors, supporting our community, and lending a hand when it matters most. 💙🌾

This November, we're asking our Burns Bronc family to join us in making a difference!

🥫 BURNS FFA CANNED FOOD DRIVE 🥫

📅 November 1–24, 2026
📍 Drop off donations at the Burns High School Ag Classroom

We're collecting canned goods and nonperishable food items to help stock our school pantry and support individuals and families in our community who need a little extra help.

🏆 LET THE CLASS COMPETITION BEGIN! 🏆

Donations can be credited to a specific class or made as a general donation. The classes competing are:

🤠 Junior High
🧡 9th Grade
🖤 10th Grade
🤠 11th Grade
🧡 12th Grade

The class that donates the MOST POUNDS OF FOOD will earn a PIZZA PARTY PROVIDED BY BURNS FFA! 🍕🔥

But that's not all! We're also collecting items to help local families enjoy a traditional holiday dinner. 🦃🍽️

🥣 Stuffing
🥫 Canned vegetables and other sides
🍲 Other holiday meal essentials

Every can, every box, every bag, and every donation makes a difference. You never know how much a simple act of kindness can mean to a family in need.

💙💛 THREE BRONCS. ONE INCREDIBLE MILESTONE. THE AMERICAN FFA DEGREE. 💛💙

Today was a special day for Burns Bronc FFA as three of our own took the stage at the National FFA Convention to receive the prestigious American FFA Degree!

Congratulations to Dalton Fox, Hayden Hubbard, and Gage Grommon! 🤠🏆

The American FFA Degree represents years of hard work, determination, personal growth, and commitment to something bigger than yourself. It is an achievement earned through dedication to agricultural education, supervised agricultural experiences, leadership, and service to others.

Today, these three young men put on their blue jackets for this final milestone in their FFA journeys, and our chapter couldn’t be prouder.

They have helped shape Burns FFA, represented Wyoming with distinction, and demonstrated what it means to live the values of the FFA organization. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and we look forward to seeing all they continue to accomplish in their communities and beyond.

Gentlemen, thank you for the memories, the leadership, and the example you’ve set for the next generation of Burns Bronc FFA members.

🏁🧡🖤 DAY 3 IN INDY — START YOUR ENGINES! 🖤🧡🏁

The Burns Bronc FFA crew was ready to RACE today! 🏎️💨 We made our way to the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where we got to kiss the bricks and explore the incredible cars, stories, and history behind one of the most iconic racetracks in the world! 🏁🏆

After taking in some racing history, we headed back to the National FFA Convention for a little more time together before slowing things down, relaxing, and reflecting on an incredible week of experiences and memories.

Tomorrow is our FINAL DAY, and it’s going to be a special one! 💙💛 We’ll be there to watch our Burns FFA members receive the prestigious American FFA Degree—one of the highest honors an FFA member can achieve. It’s a proud moment for our chapter and a perfect way to wrap up this adventure!

Then it’s time to point the wheels west and make our way back home to Wyoming! 🤠

From convention stages to legendary racetracks, this trip has been packed with learning, adventure, and memories that will last a lifetime.

One more day. One more incredible memory. Then home to Burns!

The Burns Bronc FFA crew is making memories, building connections, and experiencing opportunities that go far beyond the classroom at the 99th National FFA Convention in Indianapolis! 🤠💙

From the excitement of the Opening Session to connecting with our amazing industry partners, every moment has been an opportunity to learn, grow, and see the impact of agriculture and agricultural education on a whole new level.

🏇 Churchill Downs — experiencing a legendary piece of horse racing history!

⚾ Louisville Slugger — seeing the craftsmanship and tradition behind an American icon!

🌟 National FFA Convention — surrounded by thousands of members who share our passion for leadership, service, and agriculture!

These are the kinds of experiences that remind us FFA is so much more than a blue jacket. It’s about opening doors, building relationships, exploring new opportunities, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

We’re grateful for the chance to represent Burns, Wyoming, and the Burns Bronc FFA chapter on the national stage!
